Force of habit (or lack thereof): Making writing a real habit

Here I am in the midst of a non-stop workday, laden with not one or two, but SEVEN meetings throughout my day, and I'm taking two minutes to just write. Something. Anything. It's genuinely so much easier said than done to "set aside 30 minutes, just 30 minutes! of the day to write something." Prioritizing my passion is a complicated matter. I'm passionate about so much. From devouring new fiction, to working on my Physique (57), to cooking up a new culinary creation with my partner, my enthusiasm for different pursuits is unabridged. Here I am. Writing. Something... anything. This has been a moment in microblogging and a personal attempt to simply do what I say I'm going to do.It's a quasi-valiant effort that sets my soul a bit more at ease. For at least I tried to write something for myself today. Albeit a little, wee baby post. Thanks for reading! But before you go, how are all of your writing projects going? Other than a calendar invite, sheer willpower, and gallons of coffee, how do you set aside the 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 8 hours a day to just WRITE and/or DO what you love?Leave it in comments, fam! (Featured Photo by Danielle MacInnes on Unsplash)
